Once completed, your company's score is reviewed. If your score is high enough, your company is able to sign the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence.

Becoming a B Corp is no walk in the park. From day 1 we knew that we wanted Better Packaging to be a B Corp and had designed the business with that in mind. But even so, it was an intense process to get certified. We knew our products were out there making a difference, consistently meeting the highest grade certifications, but B Corp Certification is about way more than just great products. It’s about proving that our whole company is a force for good.

For perspective, the median score for ordinary businesses is 50. Our B Impact score in 2020 was 87, and by 2024 (when it was time to renew), we boosted it to 93.5—a nearly 10% jump! In other words, we’re getting better at being Better!
We’ve undergone a rigorous, independent assessment across five areas—Governance, Workers, Customers, Community, and Environment.
Our passing score isn’t just a badge of intent; it reflects the hard work that got us here and guides us to keep improving. B Corp certification helps us measure our progress and focus on doing better where it counts most!
