Better Packaging has been featured in Ragtrader for its collaboration with Australia Post to launch new POLLASTIC recycled plastic satchels in Post Offices nationwide.
Made from certified potential Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP), these satchels help tackle plastic pollution while providing a sustainable mailer solution. “We’re thrilled to partner with Australia Post to bring POLLAST!C to more businesses and consumers,” says Rebecca Percasky, Better Packaging’s co-founder. “Since 2021, we’ve rescued over one million kilograms of plastic waste and transformed it into functional packaging.”
Australia Post Chief Sustainability Officer, Richard Pittard, highlights the importance of such innovations: “Small changes in packaging can lead to big impacts in reducing plastic waste.”
With at least 90% recycled OBP, the new POLLASTIC satchels exceed APCO’s 2025 National Packaging Targets. This collaboration is a step towards a more circular economy, proving that sustainable packaging can be both effective and impactful.
